Sorafenat is an oral formulation that has Sorafenib as the main working element for the treatment of various types of cancers such as kidney, liver, or thyroid cancer. Sorafenat retards the progression of the growth of cancer cells.  

What is the mechanism of Sorafenat?

Sorafenib is the working constituent of Sorafenat oral preparations. Sorafenib comes in the class of medications that discontinue the blood flow to the cancer cells so that they can stop their growth and multiplication. Thus, Sorafenib is indicated for the treatment of liver, kidney, and thyroid cancers.   

Who should not take Sorafenat?

  • Individuals with oversensitivity towards Sorafenib or any other ingredient of Sorafenat formulation should not take Sorafenat medication.
  • Patients with liver, kidney, heart, chest pain, bleeding, or blood pressure problem are not recommended to take Sorafenat.
  • Planning to conceive, pregnancy or lactation is contradictory states for the use of Sorafenat.
  • Do not give Sorafenat to children.

What other drugs may interact with Sorafenat?

How should you take Sorafenat?

Sorafenat is advised to be consumed as 400 mg dose for two times on a day that is two tablets of 200mg at one time in a single dose for two times. You should have to take Sorafenat tablets 1-2 hours prior to food intake. 

Take your doses on time at the same time each day and never take more than suggested dose at any time or it can lead to serious side effects.

What precautions must be considered while taking Sorafenat?
